Turn Worries Into Praises and Prayers

Celebrate God and trust Him with your concerns

Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in Him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you’re on their side, working with them and not
against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute!

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your
concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.

Philippians 4:4-7 (MSG)

I’ve been busy selecting Scripture verses for each of my students who will soon
confirm their faith. I often think of you too, friends, as I select scriptures
because my prayers for my students are the same as my prayers for you – that you find joy in your relationship with God and let His peace fill you.

Revel in God! Give thanks for all He has done and trust Him with your concerns. Let Christ displace your worry knowing that God works everything for the good of those who believe.

Let that truth give you a break from feeling like you have to be in charge of
everything. Jesus is the King of Kings! He is quite capable of managing the world! It’s not all on your shoulders.

It’s wonderful when Christ is at the center of your life instead of worry. (tweet

God must be sending either you or me a message. He often bombards me from many sides with a theme until I hear Him. I'm not typically a worrier but maybe there's something below the surface He's warning me about.
