Scattering seeds

I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest
corners I called you.  I said, “You are
my servant”; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I
am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and
help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:9-10 (NIV)

I’m at my women’s retreat this
weekend, so I’m scattering seeds for you and God to tend and grow together.

Do you have a positive or negative
feeling from this reading?  Why?

Does it speak to anything in your
personal life?

Spend some time thinking about it
and perhaps re-reading.  Have fun!

This is one of my favorite verses. "Do not fear!" How can we fear if we are in the Hand of God. John 10 speaks of this very thing. No one can snatch us out of His hand. I quoted this verse to myself many times when money was short and my body would ache with fibromyalgia. God is so very good to us.

Spend a few minutes to plant a quick Seed. Or stay longer and plant a whole garden.

Each post is a brief scriptural thought that will grow as you let it take root in your thoughts. If you have time, dig into one area of interest and plant a whole garden.
