Have I Told You Lately?

 
Ephesians 3:17-19 (NLT) I pray that you may have power to
grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know
this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of
all the fullness of God.
 
We fill our minds with knowledge of God and his
will for our lives – how to think and behave, prioritize our lives, and read
the Bible.  It’s all good stuff for
everyday life.
 
But do you really know how much God loves you?
 
It’s incredible! 
God created humans in order to love us. 
Do you realize our God is the only god that loves unconditionally?  We don’t have to, nor can we, do anything to
earn His favor.  Instead, He came down to
rescue us.
 
And it’s not all ‘us’ and ‘we’.  He adores you.  He knows your name and all the things that
matter to you, the struggles you’re going through and all your silent thoughts.  He knows your face as a mother knows her
child’s face.  I pray that you can grasp
this love that surpasses knowledge.
