God Help Me

Psalm
119:114
(NLT) – You are my refuge and my shield; your word is my source of
hope.

True?  Is today’s verse a statement you could say with
confidence in your own words?  Read it
again.  Do you feel safe and protected by
God?  Do you look to Scripture when you
need hope?

If not, ask God to help!  Turn today’s verse into a prayer:  God, show me how you keep me from harm.  Open my eyes to see your protection so I will
learn to rely on it and seek it out when I feel threatened or tempted.  Help me find security for my future in Your
Word so I’ll find hope there when my life isn’t going well.  Amen.
