You Can’t Go Wrong

Acts
20:24 (NLT) – But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing
the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus – the work of telling others the Good
News about the wonderful grace of God.

Do you know your life’s purpose?  We can spend loads of time searching for the
ultimate answer or we can just start.  You
have a unique role in God’s larger plan that only you can fulfill with your mix
of talents, experiences and interests.  What
does God want you to do?  What are your
dreams?  What fills you with joy?  What is your gut telling you?

While each of us has a unique
purpose, our overall goal is the same:
be God’s hands and feet to bring His love to this world.  Jesus is our model.  What were His priorities?  To whom did He reach out and what were His
methods?  How did Jesus spend His
time?  What was His attitude?  Everything about Jesus’ life was to show
others God’s character and the way He wants us to live together.

We can start fulfilling our life’s
purpose right now by living with love.  1
Corinthians 13 assures us that even though we accomplish amazing things, “without
love it means nothing”.  As you search and
experiment to find your life’s purpose, if you keep love as the focus, you can’t
go wrong.

Spend a few minutes to plant a quick Seed. Or stay longer and plant a whole garden.

Each post is a short scripture study that will grow as you let it take root in your thoughts. If you have time, dig into one area of interest and plant a whole garden.
