Strapped In

1
Corinthians 7:35 (NLT) I want you to do whatever will help you serve the Lord
best, with as few distractions as possible.

What happens when I’m strapped to a seat for 8 hours without
internet?

I get things done!

My flight to Las Vegas was highly productive allowing me to
catch up on reading and writing without distraction.  Do I need a seat belt on my desk chair?

Or should I simply stop wasting time on distractions like TV
and Facebook?  I echo this thought from
Holly Barrett:  “I’m excited about
spending the next 40 days concentrating on the most important and impactful
relationship in my life.  I expect to
learn a lot, to grow closer to the Father, and to concentrate on His loving
grace and renewed communion.”

Will you join me?

What gets in the way of your relationship with God?

Will you cast this distraction aside and focus on the most
important and impactful relationship in your life?

Like a productive garden, a rich
relationship should be tended regularly.

Spend a few minutes to plant a quick Seed. Or stay longer and plant a whole garden.

Each post is a brief scriptural thought that will grow as you let it take root in your thoughts. If you have time, dig into one area of interest and plant a whole garden.
