Pray Constantly

Colossians 1:9-10 (NLT)
Do you pray for others?
I was inspired by author Andy Lee to look at this beautiful prayer by the Apostle Paul. It expresses what I deeply desire for you, for my kids, and for myself.
While there’s no wrong way to pray, mine aren’t nearly as eloquent. They’re often repetitive, vague, and dry, asking God to show them His path and keep them safe. Paul’s words express what my heart really desires.
Read the scripture again, turning it into a prayer for a friend or family member.
Try rewording it and pray it for yourself. Yes, it’s OK to pray for yourself.
God tells us to pray constantly. Wouldn’t that please Him and draw us into closer relationship?
Will you join me in an experiment?
For one day, constantly ask God to give you wisdom and understanding to know His will?
Let’s share our experiences in the comments! I’m betting there will be some amazing God-incidents.

Spend a few minutes to plant a quick Seed. Or stay longer and plant a whole garden.

Yes. Prayer is so very important. It is walking into the throne room of God with no shame or guilt. We get to enjoy His presence and talk to Him about anything and everything. The best thing…He wants us to
Thank you for this post.
Yes, it is important. I'm just better at the ongoing conversation than intentionally entering the throne room. I am beyond grateful to be able to come before Him without shame or guilt. And yes, the amazing thing is that He desires a relationship with us.
