My Prayer for You

Praying HandsLet your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him.  Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.  Colossians 2:7 (NLT)

As Confirmation Sunday approaches, it’s my privilege to select a scripture and pray for each of my students. As I express my joy for their faith and my heartfelt desires for their continued growth, I realize I’m also praying for your faith journey.

I pray you have a personal and intimate relationship with God.

As you continue to acquire knowledge of God’s Word and better understand His character, I pray that you are able to grasp the width, length and depth of God’s love for you and to rest securely in His arms.

I pray you gain strength, confidence, joy, and peace from experiencing His presence with you always.  You are never alone.

I pray that you discover your unique gifts and put them to use for His purposes because there’s nothing more fulfilling than living in the ‘sweet spot’ of God’s plan for you.

I pray you allow God to transform you into the incredible person He created.

I pray that at every bend in the path, you hear His Voice comforting you, encouraging you, forgiving you and beckoning you closer. Nothing can change or remove His love for you.

Each post is a brief scriptural thought that will grow as you let it take root in your thoughts. If you have time, dig into one area of interest and plant a whole garden.
