If You Can’t Define Grace, Read This…

Ephesians 2:8 (NLT) – God save you by His grace when you believed.  And you can’t take credit for this;  it is a gift from God.

If you can’t explain what grace means in your own words, read this excellent post by Ken Weliever, author of The Preachers Word.  I’m sure it will help you grasp Grace.  What a great illustration!

This is the beginning of Ken’s post:

“In The Gift of Forgiveness, Dr. Charles Stanley relates an
unforgettable story of his college professor who illustrated the concept
of grace in a very practical and memorable way.

“At the end of his evangelism course he would distribute the exam,
and caution the class to read it all the way through before beginning to
answer it. As we read the test, it became unquestionably clear to each of us that we had not studied nearly enough. 

The
further we read, the worse it became. About halfway through, audible
groans could be heard throughout the lecture hall. On the last page,
