Corinthians 3:5-7 (NLT) – After all, who is Apollos? Who is Paul?
We are only God’s servants through whom you believed the Good News. Each of us did the work the Lord gave us. I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos
watered it, but it was God who made it grow.
It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed
grow.

Sometimes I just want to reach
through this screen, grab you by the shoulders and shake you! Why?
To tell you that God loves you and living like you believe it can make
all the difference in your life. Is
shaking you a better method than ringing doorbells with Bible in hand? Probably not, but the intent is the
same: God has changed my life and I want
you to experience life with Him too. So,
I will continue to plant my Seeds of Scripture in the world and trust God for
their growth.
Can you help me scatter seeds? As you visit with friends and family this
summer and find yourself in a conversation about faith, mention this blog (or any favorite devotion) to help others
grow closer to God. For those of you who
are local, I have business cards you could pass along or pin to a community
board. Perhaps forwarding a particular post
to a friend is more comfortable.

If something works for you, you tell
others. If you’ve lost weight on a
particular diet or have found the best handyman, don’t you share the info with
friends? Be brave. If you are more connected to God because you
read an online devotion, suggest it to a friend. Toss a seed into the wind and see where God
takes it.
