God Loves Imperfection

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NIV) – For God’s power is made
perfect in weakness….  For when I am
weak, then I am strong.

Do you have your life under
control?  Have you got things put
together pretty well?  Or is your life a
mess?  Do you doubt your worth?  Ironically, while God can use anyone for His
purpose, He is better able to use the imperfect person.

How does that make sense?

You might thing the successful,
capable, powerful, influential person could accomplish so much more for God than
the self-doubting, timid individual with a storied past.  Perhaps, but often, the person who wields
power and feels in control of life doesn’t feel a need for God and doesn’t
follow His path.  The one who realizes that
their strength and ability come from God’s Spirit working through them is more receptive
to His guidance and yields to His plan.

God loves to use imperfect
people.

Look at all the imperfect biblical
characters who became champions for God!
Believe you are beautifully imperfect.
Believe God loves you exactly as is.
Believe God has a purpose for your life and will equip you for the
job.  Believe His Spirit lives in you and
works through you.  Believe.

What holds you back from believing God can use you?
