mind immediately goes to the image of white hair. It’s not a positive one these
days as marketers peddle hair color and wrinkle cream. In biblical times, gray
hair was a badge of honor indicating wisdom and garnering respect.

word (asah). When God made you, it
was “with a distinct purpose, a moral obligation or a goal in view.” The
Psalmist describes the same intent when God “formed my inward parts; you
knitted me together in my mother’s womb.” (Psalm 139:13)

care for you on this journey is unfailing. Through trials and missteps He will

There’s
no sense doubting that God created you for a reason because He never gives up.

Just cut my hair and am about to do "lowlights!" but I'm thinking maybe I'll sport my gray hair as a badge of honor instead. 🙂 Thanks for the encouragement here. He does have a purpose for each of us.
It's interesting how our culture values youthful appearance. My soul is much more at peace, confident, and joyful as I get older. I would never want to re-do those youthful years. It all goes back to looking beyond initial appearances.
I find there are seasons in my life when I feel I'm wandering around in a cloaking mist. Other times I'm sure I've heard clearly and I'm on God's 'beam'. Thankfully at the moment I've left the former behind and am secure in the latter. 😀
Glad you feel like you're in the zone right now. Yes, we have times of when the direction isn't clear and we must wait. But there's even purpose in the waiting. Good to hear from you Sandra!
