holy week jesus teachesI hope you had a wonderful Palm Sunday worshiping online. What a time this is! I have another teaching from Jesus that Matthew, Mark, and John all record. Join me in this video message.

Who do you worship?

Please share with a friend who might enjoy Holy Week reflections.

Great video and post, but I do disagree on one point.
What are you missing during this time of separation? That thing being what you worship.

I believe that’s too broad an assumption. I miss my people, my tribe . God calls us to be in communion with one another,,He wants us to love our family and friends and neighbors.

Right now loving them means distancing
., but is missing the interaction, the closeness, something I worship? And if so, why would that be wrong?

Great point, Michelle. Thanks for pointing that out. Yes, my question was far too broad. But this time does allow us to contemplate if what we miss is something we worship – admiration, approval, power, achievements, and even family. Certainly, we are made to be in community, but we might lean on some relationships over God. I’m merely suggesting that recognizing that we’re missing something provides an opportunity to ask ‘why’ and ‘is it healthy’?
      Thanks for engaging!
