Slow Summers

Matthew 28:20 (NLT) – And be sure of this:  I am with you always, even to the end of the
age.

Do you feel guilty about not praying
more often?  Don’t!  God set us free from guilt!  Instead, when you have those thoughts,
PRAY!  Just do it right then.

Slow summers.

Summertime is perfect for spending
more time with God.  Wiggle your toes in
the sand and whisper a word of praise for His creation.  Lie in bed on a slow morning imagining
yourself resting in His arms.  Enjoy the
cool evening breezes and breathe in a deep sense of God’s presence.  A thought directed toward God is a
prayer.  Let your mind wander with Him.

Psalm 19:1-3 (NLT) – The heavens proclaim the glory of
God.  The skies display His
craftsmanship.  Day after day they
continue to speak; night after night they make Him known.  They speak without a sound or word; their
voice is never heard.

I love that the Divine is always with us and just looking around shows us that!

Spend a few minutes to plant a quick Seed. Or stay longer and plant a whole garden.

Each post is a short scripture study that will grow as you let it take root in your thoughts. If you have time, dig into one area of interest and plant a whole garden.
