Money is the root of all evil. 1 Timothy 6:10
Have you heard this Scriptural

Unfortunately, it’s a phrase lifted
out of context and used inappropriately. Money does sometimes cause problems,
but it can also be powerful for Good.

1 Timothy 6:10 actually says:
For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And
some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced
themselves with many sorrows.

The love of money is evil, not money itself. Decisions based on craving money lead us away from God.
That’s a huge distinction!

Great Truth. Thank you for pointing this out. I would get upset when people took this verse out of context. When I was living in NH my husband was not working, we were eating out of food pantries. I would get myself literally sick worrying and thinking of how to get money. It was awful. After much grief I turned to God in prayer; claiming His promises. Now, when the month outlasts the money I do not panic I thank God that I have my daily bread. It may be Peanut Butter and Jelly but it is food. He is a good God.
