You cleaned more deeply than normal, prepared company recipes, fluffed up the seldom used guest towels, and provided an interesting bedside read. One of the children gave up their room and you spruced up the décor to make their stay beautiful.
But your guests are unappreciative.
They take your efforts for granted, not recognizing the sacrifices you made for them. They’re demanding about the timing of meals or don’t like your brand of coffee. They complain about the inconvenience of traveling or the difficulty of leaving their busy lives.
How do you feel?
I wonder if this is how God feels when we don’t recognize and appreciate His blessings, especially His sacrifice on the cross. Scripture often instructs us to give thanks, but God doesn’t need our gratitude to feel good. What God knows
is that we feel good when we have a thankful heart. A ‘count your blessings’ attitude changes our perspective from
lacking to having enough.

Spend a few minutes to plant a quick Seed. Or stay longer and plant a whole garden.
I do not think he is frustrated…………..I think he is sad. the fact is; he gave us free will to do as we feel and think; how far, and what we do with this free will, is up to us. and, at times, he hurts and is sad with the way we deal with our free will……….(our choices in life).
Yes, sad that we don't recognize the positive and choose His path, but focus on negative, harmful things.
